Transforming Pool Cover Design

GeoBubble™ Technology revolutionizes pool cover design with advanced solutions that enhance performance, durability, and sustainability. Our commitment to innovation ensures that each product is engineered to deliver maximum efficiency and long-term value.

GeoBubble™ Technology

GeoBubble™ technology was developed with the aim of providing a longer lasting swimming pool cover solution, using improved product design to extend the covers quality and lifespan in use. Our drive to create energy and resource savings products made it a natural step to combining the unique features of the GeoBubble™ with technologies offering higher performance to reduces running costs on the pool.

Core Values

Innovation is at the core of our values with a dedicated inhouse Research and Development team and collaborations with experts from industry in pigments, UV stabilisation and polymer as well as University Physics and Engineering faculties. Continually working to create the next generation of energy and resource saving materials to reduce costs and preserve resources in the pursuit of better more sustainable solutions.

High Performance Materials

Each product featuring the GeoBubble™ technology bubble is engineered to offer the highest performance at the material’s specific function, while offering the longest possible lifespan. With our Guard product range, it is our aim to provide savings that can repay the cost of investment within the first year of use.

Understanding our performance

Dedicated to understanding how our products perform in collaboration with Surrey University developed a bespoke testing facility and testing methodology featuring 5, 8x4m pools, designed specifically with a purpose-built data acquisition programme for monitoring the water temperature, energy consumption, water balance and chemical additions and environmental conditions. The results from these tests drive our innovations and are communicated to the industry as part of our product performance case studies.

Within the laboratory we strive to understand every aspect of the possibilities of our materials often designing bespoke experiments in our push for performance. Alongside this we also use mechanical testing, spectrographic investigations, accelerated weathering machines to ensure our materials are reaching or exceeding their expected lifespans and performance.

This work of many years is most notably demonstrated through the LCAs (life cycle assessment) completed to demonstrate the positive impact in energy and resource savings our materials have the potential to provide.

Always Learning

Through a series of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, we have worked with universities to build our knowledge of how our covers interact with light and how this impacts the performance of the materials in use.  Our links to these academic bodies has been maintained through a professional STEM placement scheme now in its 7th year.  The STEM placement scheme offers new knowledge and perspectives into our design process to keep us pushing for new and better materials, while also offering development opportunities for the next generation of students and designers of the future.

Through these programmes we have seen students win awards for sustainable development for creating recycling facilities in use at our factory today, Products unique products launched to the industry to drive energy and resource savings, actively supported the industry through education and won awards for innovation from the IOP (Institute of Physics) for the development of our EnergyGuard™ Selective Transmission.
